    Default Applying for financial aid

Does anyone have any good information on applying for financial aid to go back to school. Many single mothers can't afford going back to school but desperately need to so they can get a better job. I would like to hear stories on how you applied or any good websites that you may have.

When I went to University the Admissions Office was more than willing to help me with finding and applying for financial aid. I would start there first.

There are lots of educational help for us single mom in the net. One website I have searched is http://www.singlemomeducationhelp.com/. This website allows you to understand and discover some aiding help and back-to-school program for us single moms who wanted to go back to school or finish a degree.

Try looking and searching for some websites that are made to serve single mothers. There are some scholarships offered for us to use in returning back to school.

I’m a single mom and I tackled going back to school so I hear you on this one!
Fortunately I had a lot of help with financial aid from my school. They were very helpful to me and with the online learning I could still work and provide for my family while I was enrolled and taking courses. What field of study did you graduate from? Are you a nurse? If you were then you could apply for the rn to bsn course they offer, and still be able to work while attending school. Take a look at the link below or call and they should really be able to help you. Alvidia
