helloto all who read this message i am a mother of a 1 year old baby boy who barely survived life he was born weighing only 1 pd 10 oz:( i am very depressed while i am writing this sorry veryday was like a struggle for me wondering if my baby was going to survive or live his daddy walked out on us because he thought my child was going to be handicapp or something but by the grace of god he isnt i struggle everyday taking care of my baby and it s real hard taking care of him with the oxygen and respitory problem i have no help from family its like i am on my own mybaby is growing upto be a beautiful child and i only want the best for him and icant really do it because of my financial situation i receeive disability so do he but its not even enough to take care of other expences such as clothes food and some utlity bills im going to keep praying and hope there is somone out there with a heart that can help us may god bless

There are a number of things that the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) can do to assist you. For example, they have an office that is designated to Child Support Enforcement, where they will assist you in getting a court order for your child's father to pay you child support. The following is a map of the United States that lists all of the contact information for Child Support Enforcement Offices contacts by State (http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cse/extinf.html). You will need to click on the state where you live to get the contact information for the office in your area.

The DHHS also has programs to assist you with paying for child care (http://nccic.acf.hhs.gov/emergency/topic_childcare.cfm#2), if you are able to work (I know you mentioned that you are on disability).
