Hello emalizy,
I am going to recommend that you start at your local Health and Human Services Department (DHHS). They provide assistance with paying for childcare, child support enforcement (getting a child support order from you ex), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (assistance in paying energy bills).
I do not know the specifics of your situation, but this is a good place to start, as they offer a variety of services for financial assistance for families.
The following is the state link for State Family Assistance Program. Simply click on the state where you live, and it will give you the contact information for the local DHHS offices. You will need to copy and paste into your browser.

Good luck getting your children back.

my children are out of USA
thanks sall and the rest for welcoming me and wonderful advice.
this is a lady whose husband died in africa while she was pregnant.Despite all the trauma i passed thru no pitty from my late husbands family.ALL they cared was to battle over the property we both had invested.I could not bear this and i to cry everyday with a baby in my hands and my first just entering secondary school.i move my children to my family and came to the US to begin all over and have some peace.thank god, with the help of my family my children are doing great! and also i have adjusted my statues as a permanent resident af the united states. My greatest pressure now is to have money to file for them with immigration, and pay for thier air ticket.the baby whom i left at the age of 4 she just turn 9years.
PLEASE I NEED HELP

Hello emalizy,
The amount of help that is available is dependent on whether you are a refugee or just an immigrant. If you are refugee there are government programs to get you financial assistance, assistance with healthcare, and even reparations through the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which is a specific division of the Department of Health and Human Services.
The following is their national website: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/orr/programs/index.htm (you will have to copy and paste it into your browser).
If you are an immigrant, there are not any government assistance programs to provide financial aid in bringing your family over from Africa. If this is your situation, I would recommend that you connect with a local church. There are many churches that "adopt" people in need and their families. If you explain your situation to someone at a church (like a minister), they may be able to raise money for you to reunite with your family.
Good luck. I hope that this information is helpful for you.
