    Default i got hsbc credit card default of 2000 pounds in 2005 in uk.do i need to pay the intrest for whole period.?

    due to visa problems i left uk in 06.now i am back in uk.i got a letter now asking me to pay 2400 pounds as out standing one time settlement.if i pay this do i need to pay the intrest, or any thing else.how should i proceed.

    Yes you have pay interset for the period till the date when you pay.I advice you that you pay as soon as possible so you will pay less.You can talk to HSBC bank about this and tell your problem and you may get some benefit.
