Re: Online Classes
I spent a couple years taking online classes to achieve my Associates Degree and I feel that it was the best form of education that I could have gotten. I worked weird hours and attending a class at a brick and mortar school just wasn't the right think for me. I studied when I wanted and had the whole week to get my assignments done. When I got stuck there was a professor online to help me out. My last Thesis I got a 98 and I was on the Dean's list most of the time. I would encourage anyone to school online. There are several great online colleges and universities. My choice was UOP.

Re: Online Classes
Online classes can be a great option if they fulfill the requirements you need to graduate. While they require some time management skills, since things just have deadlines rather than physically going to class and turning something in, you have to figure out when you can do the assignments and tests. Also, you have to keep track of when things are due because you don't have a teacher verbally reminding you at the end of class there's a test next week. They can be an excellent way to get core credit out of the way or catch up on some remedial courses more cheaply than traditional schooling.

Re: Online Classes
I am a huge supporter of online education! I’m a single mother, my kids and I wouldn’t have been able to eat if I didn’t take my rn to bsn education online!
I took my courses at Unitek College, they offer a great program that I can’t thank them enough for thinking about all us single mothers and working health care professionals that just can’t decide to go back to school when we have responsibilities to tend to.
I already knew how tough it was going to be and have worked and studied quite hard already getting my RN degree so yes time management was the hardest part of the course for me as I had to feed the kids and help them with homework. I ended up staying up very late at night after the kids went to bed and when they were napping and sleeping on the weekends I would get to work on my courses. I worked harder than I ever did and have a better paying job now to show for it!
