I just left an abusive relationship, and am currently in need of housing, fianacial help with bills, and household items, etc...

Anything that you could help me with would be greatly appreciated, not sure how to go about getting us a place or how to pay bills.

I'm in immediate need of these things for my childrens sake... Thank You!!

You should contact your local Human Services office. They can assist you in finding a local safe house, as well as help you to sign up for section 8 housing, and provide you with financial assistance.

With section 8 housing, you are only responsible to pay 30% of your household income for rent, and the Housing Voucher Program pays for the rest. The 30% includes utilities. The most important thing is that you need to contact your local Human Services office, this can be done by contacting your local Health Department, and they can direct you to your local Human Services Office.
