Default Hello Single Mother 26 yrs old

Hello Everyone, I am new here and well a litle about me I am 26 years old. A proud single mother of a wonderful 10 year old boy name Gabriel. I became a teenage single mother. It was the most hardest time for me . I can now admit since I had my son I haven't been the same since.
I got real depressed became obese lost my weight gained it after 5 years again.
I never took care of that post pardum depression I felt I didn't need any help. But since then I have tried to stay positive. But is so much sometimes. I had surgery in 2008 and since then I lost my job ,lost my apartment and had to give up my things. Its been so depressing for me. I felt horrible that I had to move my son from past 10 yrs of his life I moved him to 5 schools. All because of my instability ;o(
I can't do this anymore. Since then I tried looking for work and haven't found any. I gave up $499 dollars to get certified as a phlebotomy technician I finished but in NYC haven't been able to find work since they want me to have one year experience . But how if no one is willing to hire me!!?!?
Is so expensive to live in my hometown so what I have now been looking into relocation to another state to Florida which my son and I love or Virginia.
I want to start a new life fromt he start I need a new fresh of air!
thank god I have my parents who are willing to watch over my son until I get myself together when I move but how can I start with no money or anything at all ;o( S
I truly hope to meet good people here and resources to get me started in the right direction.

I know how you feel. I had a hard time getting a job too. Everyone wants experience!!! The best way to get experience is to intern. Some places will pay interns and other won't but it will at least give you a starting place. If your parents are willing to help with your son you should definitely look into interning. A good chunk of the time people are willing to hire you after your internship is up. good luck! Keep me posted. I want to know how it works out for you!
