    Post new to life

Hi I'm sam. 19 years old and a perfect 9mo boy cameron. I'm still figuring things out though. I need some advice and help. I am going to study to work in a pharmacy so I won't be just another teen mom that has their parents taking care of them annnd their baby. I want so desprately to make it in life. I need help finding grants for a car that won't die randomly when I need it the most. I know their out there I just can't find them. On lighter notes I'm a very proud mom!!!! I couldn't see my life without my son! My son doesn't exist to his father....he didn't want him to even be alive :/ I was poked at for months to have an abortion....so I left him and been on my own. Trying to figure everything out. And I need to be pointed in the right direction. Any help is welcome greatly.

    Hello Sammi,

Welcome to the SingleMomFinancialHelp Forum, we are glad that you are here!!

With regard to grants for new vehicles, you are correct, they are out there. There is a program called http://www.opportunitycars.com/index.htm. You will need to click on the www.opportunitycars.com/locator/index.php to locate a program in your area. This will provide you with the contact information of the local programs in your area, so you can call and ask what their application procedures are. Also, go online and search for grants for single mothers to get reliable vehicles, there are likely many more opportunities out there.

I hope that this information is helpful for you.

Good luck in getting a new vehicle, and in your pharmacy career!

    ~Sally~
