I have been a single mom for over a year and a half. I have only received child support for about 2-3 months. I applied for MFIB and was accepted in my state. I was told that I can only receive $2 for assistance this month. That plus about 76 bucks for child support every 2 weeks. I work very hard at 2 jobs but I live in a small town and hours have been cut due to lack of profits. I do not know how I am going to pay $600 for next month's rent. I normally have made it on my own. I received NOTHING for assistance for over a year but now I don't know what to do. I don't want for me and my daughter to be homeless and the county isn't helping. My ex was cruel and doesn't even want to pay child support. Can anyone help ?
