Hi Single/Solo Mommies!

I am a solo mommy raising a daughter on my own with an absentee dad. We have been on our own for just over two years now. I am independent and dont believe in waiting for someone to come and rescue me. I learned some important lessons when my marriage dissolved into pieces... and I plan on using those lessons to avoid making the same mistakes twice. If that means I have to be single longer than necessary- so be it. I know this time that I have with my daughter, just her and I, is something that wont last forever- so I have to enjoy every moment of it. I hope that I can use this time of being an "untraditional family" to teach my daughter some big lessons of the heart. I hope that ultimately she will see that I love and adore her with all that I am, and although I am hardly a perfect mom, I have tried my best to do right by her.
