Do men like rescuing women?

Do men actually like rescuing women, say, women with emotional problems? or a woman who's quite aloof and shy but hopes to get happy, but just doesn't know how? I had a guy friend who loooooooooooooooooved dating single mothers that had multiple children and needed financial help. I remember we were talking and at this time he was dating a woman that had two young children. He was gleaming at the fact that she needed help paying rent. He even gets giddy when I need help opening a jar. He would say things like I know you wouldn't want damage those perfect little lady fingers.

Not really; only if you like the drama queens. Then they have so many problems it becomes a problem. Because their problems become your burden. Do not rescue a women...let them drown in their own mess.

In some cases, but that seems to be a rarity. Usually men try to keep their distance from women with emotional issues or "baggage". However if it came to a women in danger, I'd try an save her...so maybe we do haha, I dunno. Maybe he's just a nice person.

its called the nice guy complex. and yea, in most cases it emasculates a guy and makes him feel like he has purpose.. These are the guys that from first glance seem like they are belittling women but in reality they are doing what they can to make women's lives easier. I'll be the first one to let women try to do something, but i'm also the guy standing by as a safety net just in case...

I don't think so. I think men prefer women whom they know that they need them or they need a man, but that doesn't mean that they want to rescue a woman.

I think Men really like rescuing women which are in need of moral or fananical support because most of the Men think they should help a women wich is especially a single mother as it is really tough to nourish your child and educate them to the required levels without having a support of a person.
