Default What are you thankful for?

The holidays are right around the corner and it's a good time to think about what we are thankful for.

I'm thankful that my girls are healthy, that we have very little debt even in this bad economy and that we have a roof over our heads.

    What are you thankful for????

I am thankful every day for my son. He brings so much joy and light into my life.

I am also thankful for my friends and family that provide me with love and support, even in the most trying times. I am truly blessed.

I suppose that it is easy to get so caught up in the struggles of day-to-day that I forget to be thankful for the blessings that I do have.

I'm thankful for this heater that is keeping the living room warm, and the kitten cuddled up right between the kids, and the sound of laughter.

It really is the little things that count.

Being so close to Thanksgiving, this thread really got me thinking about what I am thankful for. I am thankful that my daughter is healthy, generally happy, and a a really good girl. I am thankful for my friends, family, a warm safe place to live, and a reliable vehicle. And today, I am thankful that it looks like there is only a slight chance of snow in the forecast, so Thanksgiving travel will be less dangerous.

I am so thankful to have a pantry full of food, and the ability to cook anything the kids might want for Thanksgiving dinner. There was a time when money was so tight, only the kindness of strangers gave us enough food for a small Thanksgiving meal. I never, ever forget that...and I am so grateful, every single time I open up the cabinets or the refrigerator, and it's FULL.

There are so many things to be thankful for right now.
