    Default Single Parent Student Loans

Even grants and scholarships can't cover all the cost of schooling, single parent student loans can help. But right now the government is behind and can't help as quickly as you might like. Try Sallie Mae student loans, they are number one right now on the list for single parents because they offer a variety of loans.

Getting a student loan from a bank is governed by the government and is a guaranteed loan. I believe that you cannot be refused by a lender for a student loan because they are backed by the government. Anyone care to comment on this, if I am right or not.

That is true, the government will secure the student bank loan for you, but if you get behind on your payments or don’t pay the government will not lend you anymore money. On, top of that the government will also take you income tax refund (with interest of course) until the loan is paid off. The good news is that the interest rates are very low on student loans. Plus, you don’t have to start paying the loan back until 6 months after you graduate.

It has been my experience that all loans are contingent upon good credit. If your credit is not up to par,you will need a cosigner. Fanni Mae loans are guaranteed if you have the credit to get one.

Shonny, I have never had bad credit so I am not sure on that. For some reason I am thinking student loans are different then just a personal loan. Now that you have my mind wondering I am going to have to check into bad credit/ student loans.

If you are searching for bad credit student loans without cosigner then there are lots of option available for you. Many of the private lenders are offering loans for bad credit history students at low interest rate and sufficient repayment time.
