Default Just a Friendly Reminder From SMFH Forums!

Some of the rules and guidelines we ask our users to abide by:

    1. Please, no spam!
    2. These forums are for sharing help and connecting with other moms. Please be respectful of each other, even if you don't see eye to eye.
    3. Agree to disagree. Having opinions is encouraged, but don't let them take over so you forget what these forums are supposed to do--provide help and support for yourself and others.
    4. If you notice any users that are violating these guidelines, let us know! We want to create a safe, comfortable online environment for moms to share their experiences and feelings with each other, and create a network of support for all of our members.

    Thank you. Keep posting!

Very good points. You can disagree with someone but not be rude. I think some times though a person is just trying to get their point across but they either don't express it quite right or the other person is too sensitive to the subject and takes offence. Anyway it is great to read every one's comments.

That happens to me a lot. I try to say something in conversation and it just comes out wrong. It's easier to be careful about that kind of thing on a forum, though, because you can read what you wrote before you submit it and fix it if you see that it's coming off as offensive or insensitive or something. You can always find a way to say something nicer and still get your point across!
