If your state doesn’t have any funding, the best place to turn to would be either a government agency, or a private agency. Of course, these are harder to qualify for, but they do have many long term benefits.

I need some help. I am a single mom of three wonderful children. Their dad just walked on us leaving us homeless. I have no money or a job due to beong on maternity leave. I am trying to.find a job but i have no babysitters or a vechile. All i want to do is give my children a stable and wonderful life. I live in boone county and all i keep hearing is no one has funding. Where do i look for hellp that has funding to help?

Hi I am a single mother only 17, my daughter is a 1yr old. We live with her dads parents. I have a job I only work 32 hrs and get payed 7.50 but some how its not enough for her and for my self. Plus wat trouble my car has! So all my checks have been blowed I’ve only got 3 checks so far. On top of that I don’t have food stamps or anything! I don’t go to school due to being in a comma because of preclamysea after birth and it held me back on my juniour yr. So the skool said I was better off getting my g.e.d but kant find the time because I work and go home to my baby and I think july if I have the money I will do my ged also I am not comfortable at the house with 6 other people their that hate me. The only thing I get for my daughter is w.I.c and we starve for food a lot until I get payed it sux!!!!!! I cry myslef to sleep. I need my own place I live in indanapoils indiana in avon I heard about section 8 and foodstamps but some how I don’t know who to kall to guide me threw thing plss someone ((

You can contact an organization called HIP(Housing Initiative Program) who help people find
homes and you can receive Housing Grants for Single moms to pay.

You can try and search on Craigslist for furniture near your city. You will get great deals, but make sure they are in good condition.
