The same grants oftentimes work for single fathers as well. Just check out government agencies and surely you will find some aid.

You can receive housing grants for single mothers or contact HIP which is the Housing Initiative Program
and they help find homes. Also, she can contact TANF who provides Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.

i need help in paying my rent this month due to car repairs i am 3 weeks behind and don’t see me catching up anytime soon. I have a son who needs a roof over his head and don’t know what agency to contact…i need help ASAP!! THANKS

I am sending this in regards to my daughter. She had been living with a man for over 9 years. He walked out on her and her 3 kids. Come to find out he had not paid a house payment in almost a year. Unfortunetly the house was forclosed on. She is still there just holding her breath when they will tell her to get out. She has contacted the man that she lived with and he basically said oh well. She lost her job last year due to medical problems. Now she can’t find a job. Meanwhile, she had a buy here pay here car because that is all she could afford and it got repossessed the other day. I have helped all that I can. I have put myself in a bind. Is there anyone out there that can help her and the kids. She needs a home a car and a vehicle. Her 16 year old son has taken a job to try and help, but that is hard getting him to and from work. And he has school during the day. She gets so depressed that she scares me. The only thing keeping her going is her 3 kids and hoping that this man will come back. But I know he won’t. I know this is asking alot but I am about as desperate as she is.
