I have been a stay at home mom and just started going back to school but I just can't stay here no longer it is not good for me or my children.So my question is where do I start? I have no job no money no where to live so I am just trying to find out what kind of help that I can get and if there is an office that I can go to so they could also help me out. I am not eligible for financial aid because my daughter's father does not pay child support so I cannot apply for child care through them. I left an very abusive marriage 8yrs ago . My ex husband scammed the system over every asppect of his life and unfortunatley it is something me and my children deal with. He has had nothing to do with his children since the day I left. My kids were giving a very small amount of SSI and know I just found out that he was working and fraudly making a claim he was still unable to work and instead of punishing him and making him responsible for his actions they are trying to make me pay if back and they will now stop the little mo amount I was getting to help with the care of my children. I am a educated person and I had to quite college before I recieved my nursing degree simply could not afford it. And now I am not able to work I am a ruputured disk in L5 and a bulging disk L4 so I would be very grateful for any information you may have on some programs that may be able to assist me.
